Bridge in JavaThis program has recently been the subject of a number of improverments, most notably in the bidding AI. It also now shows what a computer player would bid in your situation, and why. Bridge is one of the world's best card games, and also one of my favourites. The unwillingness (later overcome, I'm glad to say) of my parents and brother to learn how to play led me in desperation to the programming chair to write myself some opponents. So, here is the result, but don't expect the computer to play rationally. It does exhibit some rather interesting game tactics. This is the applet. It should be fairly self-explanatory. You can also run network games if you download (80K Zip archive) and run it from a command line JVM.
